Welcome to My Research Website

I am Fumiyoshi Kobayashi (小林 史佳), a Researcher at Mercari R4D and JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (PD), specializing in Quantum Information and Quantum Error Correction. I contribute to Mercari R4D's quantum information technology research, working toward the "quantum-first era" where society and industry are restructured based on quantum technology.

  • Quantum Error Correction for Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing
  • Neutral Atom Quantum Computing and Rydberg Atom Systems
  • Tensor Network Methods for Quantum Information Processing

Current Projects

At Mercari R4D, I contribute to the quantum information technology research program, which focuses on quantum technology research anticipating the “quantum-first era” where society and industry are restructured based on quantum technology. My current research areas include:

  • Quantum error correction protocols for neutral atom quantum computers
  • Tensor network methods for quantum noise modeling
  • Fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
