Welcome to My Research Blog
Welcome to My Research Blog
Hello and welcome to my research blog! I’m Fumiyoshi Kobayashi, a researcher at Mercari R4D and JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (PD), specializing in quantum error correction and neutral atom quantum computing.
About This Blog
This blog will serve as a platform for me to share:
- Research insights from my work in quantum information theory
- Technical discussions on quantum error correction methods
- Conference experiences and academic networking
- Thoughts on the future of quantum computing and fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Tutorials and explanations of complex quantum physics concepts
My Research Focus
My current research centers on developing fault-tolerant quantum computing methods, particularly:
- Quantum error correction codes for noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices
- Surface codes and their implementation on Rydberg atom quantum computers
- Tensor network methods for quantum many-body systems
- Non-Markovian noise characterization in quantum systems
I encourage discussion and questions! Feel free to reach out through the comments or my contact page if you’d like to discuss quantum information theory, potential collaborations, or have questions about my research.
